A very special and somewhat rare black Wally dog. A lovely "Good Boy" who is very well behaved and wont pee on the carpet!
Black dogs from Staffordshire or Coalport, Shropshire were not made in large quality and so much rarer. They were known as Jackfield dogs as they were made from red- coloured clay and decorated with a shiny black enamel glaze.
Condition: Very Good
Maker's Mark: Staffordshire though typically there were no makers marks.
